Broken-hearted people,
Do you want a cure? I think you should watch this movie.
- Broken-hearted person

This is the story of a guy, Joel, who discovers that his long-time girlfriend, Clementine, has undergone a psychiatrist’s experimental procedure in which all of her memory of Joel is removed, after the couple has tried for years to get their relationship working fluidly. Frustrated by the idea of still being in love with a woman who doesn’t remember their time together, Joel agrees to undergo the procedure as well, to erase his memories of Clementine. The film, which takes place mostly within Joel’s mind, follows his memories of Clementine backwards in time as each recent memory is replaced, and the procedure then goes on to the previous one, which is likewise seen, and then erased. Once the process starts, however, Joel realizes he doesn’t really want to forget Clementine, so he starts smuggling her away into parts of his memory where she doesn’t belong which alters other things about his memories as well…

She’s Olive Penderghast. She’s into her white lie about losing her virginity. She ended up destructing herself while helping men increase their self-concept. She was too kind and was too dumb. :)) Must watch.

A man awakens from a coma, only to discover that someone has taken on his identity and that no one, (not even his wife), believes him. With the help of a young woman, he sets out to prove who he is.

Martin Harris arrived in Berlin for a biotechnology conference with his wife when he suddenly forgot his briefcase at the airport. So he decided to get it back by riding a cab back to the airport, leaving her wife at the front desk of the hotel. He met an accident (with the lady cab driver which would be a big part in the movie) and was comatose for four days. He woke up and barely remembers what happened. He thought of going to a biotechnology conference at a hotel. He found his wife at the reception and goes to embrace her but his wife claims not to know him and introduces everyone to her husband, who claims to be Martin Harris. He was so surprised and wandered in the streets of Berlin. And now he’s out to find his true identity. His only way was to find the lady driver of the cab who was with the accident. He found the lady cab driver and guess what they found out? Lots of passports with different identity of him and his said-to-be wife. And what’s next? Just watch it. ;)

She’s Out of My League (2010)
An average Joe meets the perfect woman, but his lack of confidence and the influence of his friends and family begin to pick away at the relationship.
Another beauty-and-the-geek movie. Kirk was a TSA in an airport and Molly was a hot sexy business woman. Molly left her iphone and Kirk found it. Did you know what happened? Her best friend, Patty, called Molly’s phone. Read this:

Kirk: Hello? Patty: Who’s this? Kirk: I don’t know, maybe the guy with the new iPhone. Who’s this? Patty: Ah, I don’t know, maybe your worst fucking nightmare…

It was an accident when they met and guess what? The hot girl was into the thin man. You might say sexy girls are for sexy men. However the truth is, it’s not about following the norms around. It’s about finding someone who you can be comfortable with. The problem is, Kirk treated himself small and unappreciated. The lack of confidence was brought about by his family and friends. He thought he wasn’t good enough for a 10-girl.

Stainer: I love Kirkey but let’s face it, the guy’s a 5. Meanwhile, this Molly is a hard 10. Devon: Stainer, that’s just dirty pool. He’s at least a 6… Stainer: 6? Alright, you go ahead and pop rainbows into his asshole, but I’m just being honest.

Now, will she get the girl? Go ahead and watch. :)

Gerry Kennedy: Dear Holly, I don’t have much time. I don’t mean literally, I mean you’re out buying ice cream and you’ll be home soon. But I have a feeling this is the last letter, because there is only one thing left to tell you. It isn’t to go down memory lane or make you buy a lamp, you can take care of yourself without any help from me. It’s to tell you how much you move me, how you changed me. You made me a man, by loving me Holly. And for that, I am eternally grateful… literally. If you can promise me anything, promise me that whenever you’re sad, or unsure, or you lose complete faith, that you’ll try to see yourself through my eyes. Thank you for the honor of being my wife. I’m a man with no regrets. How lucky am I. You made my life, Holly. But I’m just one chapter in yours. There’ll be more. I promise. So here it comes, the big one. Don’t be afraid to fall in love again. Watch out for that signal, when life as you know it ends. P.S. I will always love you.

Ikaw, ano gagawin mo ‘pag maagang namatay ang asawa mo? Wala pang climax ng movie ay paiiyakin ka na agad. :\ Kawawang babae nga eh. She was suffering from depression related to her husband’s death. She wears her husband’s clothes, she hallucinates and sometimes pretend that her husband is there. She even call her husband’s phone every night just to listen to his recorded voice. T_T Nakakarelate ako nang sobra. I was thinking about someone far away from me while I was watching the movie. Good thing her husband planned ahead and left her letters which was given to her like everyday, hoping that he would help her to move on faster. The last letter of Gerry is stated above.

In the mid-1970’s, a homely, friendless Australian girl of 8 picks a name out of a Manhattan phone book and writes to him; she includes a chocolate bar. She’s Mary Dinkle, the only child of an alcoholic mother and a distracted father. He’s Max Horowitz, living alone in New York, overweight, subject to anxiety attacks. He writes back, with chocolate. Thus begins a 20-year correspondence, interrupted by a stay in an asylum and a few misunderstandings. Mary falls in love with a neighbor, saves money to have a birthmark removed and deals with loss. Max has a friendship with a neighbor, tries to control his weight, and finally gets the dream job. Will the two ever meet face to face?

I was really attached to this movie. A kind of story you won’t read everyday. It’s Mary Daisy Dinkle, an 8 y/o and Max Jerry Horovitz, on his mid 40’s. Mary was teased everyday at school because of her birthmark on her forehead and she only desires to have a friend. Max was suffering from obesity and psychological disorder; he manages his anxiety attack the only way he know and that is to eat lots of chocolate burger. Mary’s parents died, went to college and she studied psychological disorders, hoping to find a cure for her friend. She even made it as her thesis and finally a book which leads to Max’s extreme anger. Mary suffered and felt sorry. She sent Max a can of sweetened condensed milk with a note saying “I’m Sorry”. Time passed they stopped communicating. On the other hand, Mary was left by her husband, who was her childhood neighbor and went to New Zealand. After Max was settled and balance again, he wrote Mary and sent her his collection of The Noblets, which was a sign that he forgive Mary. Max even invented his sweetened condensed milk for Mary. When Mary arrive at New York to see Max, she saw Max on his apartment looking happy as he made his last sweetened condensed milk. Mary personally saw Max. He didn’t.

Juli Baker devoutly believes in three things: the sanctity of trees (especially her beloved sycamore), the wholesomeness of the eggs she collects from her backyard flock of chickens, and that someday she will kiss Bryce Loski. Ever since she saw Bryce’s baby blues back in second grade, Juli has been smitten. Unfortunately, Bryce has never felt the same. Frankly, he thinks Juli Baker is a little weird—after all, what kind of freak raises chickens and sits in trees for fun? Then, in eighth grade, everything changes. Bryce begins to see that Juli’s unusual interests and pride in her family are, well, kind of cool. And Juli starts to think that maybe Bryce’s brilliant blue eyes are as empty as the rest of Bryce seems to be. After all, what kind of jerk doesn’t care about other people’s feelings about chickens and trees? With Flipped, mystery author Wendelin Van Draanen has taken a break from her Sammy Keyes series, and the result is flipping fantastic. Bryce and Juli’s rants and raves about each other ring so true that teen readers will quickly identify with at least one of these hilarious feuding egos, if not both. A perfect introduction to the adolescent war between the sexes.
